KOTA KINABALU: A man is believed to be mauled by a crocodile while fishing by the riverbank in Kinabatangan.

Mare Miri, a 39-year-old immigrant, was fishing with four other friends when the reptile went up the bank and snatched him away.

According to Kinabatangan Fire and Rescue Department, they received a report about the incident at 1.14pm, Sunday (July 6).
