Teen road bully arrested after attacking security guard in KL

KUALA LUMPUR: A security guard was attacked by a road bully in Pandan Jaya.

Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Azam Ismail, when contacted, said that the incident occurred on June 7.

At the time, the complainant had made a U-turn under a bridge when a motorcycle almost collided with him.

"The complainant managed to avoid the motorcycle, but the suspect then stopped to scold him. The suspect then started pushing and punching him.

"The complainant did not fight back, and members of the public calmed the suspect down," he said.

Investigations led to the arrest of a 19-year-old student on June 9.

Checks showed no history of previous criminal record, and he tested negative for drugs.

"He had been remanded until June 12," he said.
