Newborn killed by stray dogs

A NEWBORN abandoned by the mother in a hospital in India was killed by stray dogs, Makkal Osai reported.

A security guard at the hospital in Indore, Madya Pradesh, saw a stray dog running with what appeared to be a carcass near the hospital toilet.

Upon retrieving the object from the dog, he was shocked to discover the half-eaten remains of an infant.

After reviewing CCTV footage, police determined that a teenaged girl may have given birth in the toilet and left with an unknown man, abandoning the baby.

According to the report, stray dogs were frequently seen in the area and were able to access the hospital ward through several unsecured doors.
