Cop charged with wife's murder found dead in cell at Perlis prison


KANGAR: A policeman who was charged with murdering his wife in March 2023 was confirmed dead at the Tuanku Fauziah Hospital (HTF) here on Monday (May 26) after being found unresponsive in a cell at the Perlis Correctional Centre in Guar Nangka, Arau.

Arau OCPD Supt Ahmad Mohsin Md Rodi said the hospital confirmed that the 28-year-old man, originally from Terengganu, was "brought in dead" (BID) at 5.10pm Monday.
