Mother - the main pillar shaping a moral and knowledgeable generation, says Anwar

KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on Sunday extended Mother’s Day wishes to all mothers, acknowledging them as the foundation of dignified, outstanding, and madani (civil and compassionate) families and societies.

In a Facebook post on Sunday (May 11), Anwar said that a mother is not just the queen of the household but the main pillar in shaping and guiding future generations to be moral, knowledgeable, and ready to lead with deep compassion, dedicated service, and love.

“I extend Mother’s Day wishes to all mothers who form the foundation of dignified, outstanding, and madani families and societies,” he said.

The Prime Minister also shared a photo of himself with his late mother, Che Yan Hamid Hussein, his wife, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, and one of his daughters.
