Worker killed by collapsing concrete pile at Rawang site


KUALA LUMPUR: A machine operator has died after he was crushed by a reinforced concrete pile (RC Pile) that sprang loose from its hook near a construction site in Rawang on Thursday (April 24).

The Selangor Occupational Safety and Health Department said that the incident occurred at 8.40am when the victim, a foreigner working as a piling machine operator, was carrying out foundation work to erect piles with the help of a colleague and a project supervisor.
