College student killed in collision involving six motorcycles on Seremban-PD Highway


PORT DICKSON: An 18-year-old college student was killed in an accident involving six motorcycles at KM28.3 of the Seremban-Port Dickson Highway.

Port Dickson OCPD Supt Maslan Udin said the victim was killed on the spot in the 3.15am crash.

"The crash happened when one of the motorcyclists crashed into the bike in front of him causing the others who were trailing him to lose control and crash as well.

"The deceased sustained severe head injuries while the others escaped with light injuries," he said in a statement.

Supt Maslan said five of the six, who were aged between 17 and 20 years, were students of a college here.

The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.

Eyewitnesses have been urged to contact investigating officer Insp Mohd Zulhelmi Azman at 016-9984806 to assist in investigations.

Supt Maslan also advised parents to always monitor the movements of their children and that they followed all traffic rules.
