Dr Wee, wife pay last respects to Pak Lah at National Mosque

PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong and his wife, Jessica, paid their last respects to the late Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

“Pak Lah was more than a national leader. He was a man of humility, integrity, and deep faith, who led the country with a calm strength and a heart for unity. His legacy will always be remembered and cherished,” wrote Dr Wee in a Facebook post on Tuesday (April 15).

Tun Abdullah, 85, breathed his last at the National Heart Institute (IJN) at 7.10pm on Monday (April 14) night, and IJN in a statement said the statesman was admitted to the hospital on Sunday morning after experiencing breathing difficulty.
