KUALA LUMPUR: A shophouse lot was completely destroyed after a fire razed through the third floor of the building in Taman Danau Kota.
In a statement on Saturday (Aug 8), the Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department said that an emergency call regarding the fire was received at around 11.29am.
"The fire engulfed the third floor of the building. Firefighters successfully extinguished the fire around 12.10pm.
"The floor was completely destroyed but did not involve any victims. The cause of the fire is still under investigation," it said.
