KUALA LUMPUR: Lim Seong Hai Capital Bhd
(LSH Capital), which celebrates its 60th anniversary this year, has successfully transferred its listing from the ACE Market to the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd (Bursa Malaysia) under the Construction sector.
The transfer follows approvals from the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) and Bursa Malaysia on Oct 2, which were granted through the accelerated transfer process.
LSH Capital met all the requirements, including a daily market capitalisation of at least RM1bil for six months, a proven Main Market profit track record and a healthy financial position.
This provided the group with a faster pathway to the Main Market following its ACE Market listing. AmInvestment Bank Bhd acted as the Principal Adviser for the transfer.

Triple milestone
The move completes LSH Capital’s progression across all three of Bursa Malaysia’s markets.
LSH Capital began its capital market journey on the LEAP Market on July 30, 2021, before transferring to the ACE Market on March 21, 2025 and subsequently to the Main Market approximately 18 months later.
Over this period, its market capitalisation rose from approximately RM46.2mil to around RM1.5bil ahead of the transfer.
Over the years, LSH Capital has progressively expanded its scale, business activities and earnings base.
It now covers much of the construction value chain: supplying materials and equipment, providing engineering expertise, building, developing its own properties and operating assets such as Kuala Lumpur Tower.
Construction remains at its core, while property development and facilities management give the group a broader and more balanced earnings base.
The group’s growth strategy is anchored by its BEST Collaboration Framework, through which it draws on its extensive construction experience to work with landowners, property developers and contractors to enhance the value of their projects.
This approach positions LSH Capital as an integrated delivery partner with capabilities beyond those of a conventional contractor.
LSH Capital chairman Tan Sri Lim Keng Cheng said, “Our transfer to the Main Market represents an important milestone for LSH Capital and reflects how far we have progressed since our first listing in 2021.
“Moving from the LEAP Market to the ACE Market and now to the Main Market within just over five years, is a meaningful achievement for the group and everyone who has been part of this journey.
“Qualifying through the accelerated transfer process speaks to the growth, profitability and financial strength we have built along the way.”

As a Main Market-listed company, LSH Capital expects to gain wider recognition among investors, as well as greater visibility for its shares.
The group will remain focused on strengthening and growing its three principal business segments, namely construction, property development and facilities management, while pursuing opportunities that complement its existing expertise and support sustainable long-term growth.
Keng Cheng added, “The Main Market is not the destination, but a platform for LSH Capital’s next phase of growth.
“As we move forward, our focus remains on strengthening our business, building sustainable recurring revenue streams and putting our capabilities to work where they can create long-term value.“
He shared: “At the same time, we remain committed to delivering sustainable returns to our shareholders as we continue to grow the group over the long term, guided by our dividend policy of distributing 30% of profit after tax.
“We have backed that policy with an uninterrupted dividend record, declaring dividends for every financial year since our listing in 2021 and every quarter since our move to the ACE Market.
“We also hope our story will encourage other Malaysian companies, especially those starting out on the LEAP and ACE Markets, to make full use of the capital market.”
