Putra Heights inferno: 130 homeowners in Taman Putra Harmoni allowed to return home as of April 4, says Selangor MB


PETALING JAYA: Around 130 homeowners in Taman Putra Harmoni have been allowed to return home as of Friday (April 4) after the gas pipeline fire on Tuesday (April 1).

According to Bernama, Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari said that for those unable to go home, alternative accommodations have been provided, including by Airbnb.

"Airbnb agreed to provide victims with 78 units of free accommodation for two months," he said.

He assured the public that the state government would not protect any party in the probe of the fire, which would be conducted transparently.

He also said that the registration of victims at the relief centre to end at noon on Sunday (April 6) for data validation.
