A MAN in Thailand is receiving praise for his work ethic for selling clothes on a livestream just outside the hospital ward where his wife was in labour, reported Sin Chew Daily.
A TikTok user with the handle @sueayai2012 posted a video showing the father-to-be showcasing his goods while sitting outside the labour room.
In front of him was a phone mounted on a tripod, presumably to livestream him hawking his wares.
“I have deep admiration for this young man! While waiting for his wife to give birth, he continues to sell clothes on livestream.
“This is the mark of a dedicated husband!” the TikTok user excitedly wrote.
Other netizens also praised the man for his steadfast dedication towards building a better life for his family.
“When your kids grow up, they will feel proud to have a father like you,” another supportive netizen wrote.
> Hong Kong superstar Jacky Cheung, who had recently finished his 1,000th concert, was forced to cancel three shows in China due to a sudden illness, the daily also reported.
The 63-year-old, who is currently on his Jacky Cheung 60+ Concert Tour, was supposed to perform at the Baoneng Guangzou Arena from March 7 to 9.
On the day of the first performance in Guangzhou, organisers suddenly announced that the concerts were now cancelled.
It was also reported that his other shows in Shanghai, Taipei and Hangzhou had to be cancelled earlier after he contracted Covid-19 and later the respiratory syncytial virus.
It is uncertain if the singer will recover in time to perform for his shows at the Kaohsiung Arena at the end of March and at the Taipei Arena in April.
Cheung kicked off his first ever world tour in Hong Kong back in 1987, with the current tour being the 10th of his illustrious career.
