FOR actress Mila Mohsin, being told she resembles her late father, actor Hani Mohsin, is more than a compliment – it reminds her that a part of him lives on through her.
Mila, 29, became emotional when recalling her father, who died before she turned 10, saying his influence continues to shape her, reported Kosmo!.
“If people believe that I resemble my late father, that is the greatest compliment I could receive,” she said.
Mila said the strength and determination of her loved ones, including her mother, Puan Seri Tiara Jacquelina, also inspired her to give her best in life and her career.
“I often feel that my efforts are still not enough because I know how hard my late father worked.
"The same goes for my mother,” she said.
“My late father always made sure he was not too busy whenever he was with me. He loved me very much, and I could feel that love completely.”
> Singer Zaki Yamani has denied that his relationship with his brother, Osama Yamani, is strained following a misunderstanding over his remarks that Osama should be more active in creating social media content with their father, the “King of Pop” Datuk Jamal Abdillah.
Zaki, 20, said the misunderstanding was resolved after Osama contacted him to seek clarification and sent him a lengthy message thanking him for his support.
“Initially, I thought he might have misunderstood or had only read the headline without reading the full article,” Berita Harian quoted him as saying.
Zaki said the misunderstanding had not affected their relationship and they still spent time together despite being busy with their studies and work.
