Kim Soo-hyun comeback draws thousands


SOME 20,000 fans turned up to meet South Korean actor Kim Soo-hyun during his recent fan meeting in the Philippines, Oriental Daily reported.

The meeting comes after the actor suspended public activities for over a year following his controversy linked to the late actress Kim Sae-ron.

He broke down in tears several times, expressing his gratitude to his fans in Tagalog and promising to return to the Philippines soon.

He then performed several well-known songs from his hit dramas and interacted with fans.

The Manila fan gathering marked his first large-scale fan event in two years, following his Seoul fan meeting in October.

> A video showing parts of a disposable face mask being pulled out of a ham sausage went viral in China, China Press reported.

The recording, posted by a Chinese netizen, depicted strange white and blue materials visible at one end of the sausage after it was opened.

Netizens expressed alarm, describing the find as “terrifying”.

One netizen commented: “Workers are taking out their frustration on the products due to poor working conditions.”

> A food delivery driver in Taiwan found himself trapped in the middle of a heated confrontation when a man accused his girlfriend of cheating, China Press reported.

The incident occurred at a residence when the driver saw a man angrily banging on the door to confront his girlfriend inside.

When the man saw the delivery driver, he snatched the food packets and hurled them at another man who was inside the house with his girlfriend.

The first man then handed the driver TW$1,000 (RM128) in cash.

The driver later said this was the first time he had ever stumbled upon such a situation.
