Ipoh trader loses more than RM1.2mil to phone scam


IPOH: A 45-year-old trader here lost more than RM1.2mil after falling victim to a phone scam, when an individual called her over the phone claiming to be an officer from Bank Negara.

Ipoh acting OCPD Supt Mohamad Sajidan Abdul Sukor said a police report was lodged by the victim on Wednesday (March 5).
