‘Ready-made’ and ready to serve


KUALA LUMPUR: A “ready-made” career diplomat is likely to replace Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz as the next ambassador to the United States.

“We need a highly qualified expert to oversee bilateral relations, not just for Asean, but specifically between Malaysia and the United States,” Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan, who is fondly known as Tok Mat, told reporters after speaking at the Concorde Club meeting yesterday.
