New Harimau Malaya head coach Peter Cklamovski arrives in Malaysia


PETALING JAYA: The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) has confirmed that the head coach of Harimau Malaya Peter Cklamovski arrived on Wednesday (Jan 22).

“The new national head coach, Peter Cklamovski, has safely arrived at KLIA, Sepang, from Sydney, Australia, this afternoon to start his duties coaching the Harimau Malaya squad,” the association announced in a statement on its official Facebook page.

The 46-year-old Australian coach replaced Pau Marti Vicente who led the national squad during the AFF Championship.

Cklamovski’s arrival completes the trio of key figures tasked with spearheading the effort to revitalise the local squad.

He joins Harimau Malaya chief executive officer Rob Friend, and Dr Craig Duncan, who is in charge of performance and sports medicine.
