SHE has not seen her older sister Anita Sarawak for 14 years but veteran actress Noor Kumalasari has not given up hope of a reunion, Harian Metro reported.

Noor Kumalasari, 68, said she believes that many of Anita’s fans were praying for her well-being.

“Frankly, I am tired of replying to questions about her. I don’t know what to say,” she added.

Anita, 72, who lives in Las Vegas, has been keeping a low profile.

However, a photograph of her with her husband Mahathir Abdullah emerged several days ago, courtesy of a former entertainment journalist who had personal contact with them.

Noor Kumalasari, who has seen the picture, said she was relieved to know that “Kak Nita” and her husband are in good health.

“The photo is proof that Anita is happy with her life. I am still waiting for her call. In our last conversation, she promised to contact me.

“I tried to contact her previously but failed. Maybe she was busy with business and family. If she allows it, I would be on the next flight to Las Vegas,” she said.
