A FIGHT between two monkeys in India caused a train to delay its departure, Makkal Osai reported.

According to railway officials, the monkeys were fighting over a banana at a station in Bihar.

One of the monkeys threw an unknown rubber object that hit the overhead power lines, causing a short-circuit, snapping one of the wires. Railway engineers shut down the power, preventing any further damage.

This halted the train waiting at the station and caused a 30-minute delay.

> Makkal Osai also reported that SJK (T) Ladang Mados and SJK (T) Ladang Sembrong in Johor are set to relocate to new locations in Taman Universiti and Taman Impian Emas, respectively.

The move comes after years of requests from local residents for Tamil schools in these areas.

The state government has approved the land allocation, and the schools’ management will seek funding from the Education Ministry to build new school buildings.
