A TOTAL of 128 temple management committees out of the 688 unapproved temples identified in Selangor have met state exco member V. Papparaidu to address the issue, Malaysia Nanban reported.

Papparaidu said the meetings were held to pursue workable solutions for these temples and shrines, and not to destroy them.

The Malaysia Hindu Sangam and the Malaysia Hindu Dharma Mamandram have been included in discussions to resolve issues involving temples constructed on government and private land.

Three-year-old Sanjeev was playing in front of his home in Karur, Tamil Nadu, when he climbed into the car and accidentally locked himself in not knowing how to unlock the doors.

At the time, his parents had gone out, and his older brother was playing with friends.

When they returned, Sanjeev’s parents found him unconscious inside the car.
