Police officer walks away from crash that left another with minor injuries


IPOH: A police personnel was trapped in his seat after his vehicle collided with another vehicle in Kg Padang Rengas near Kuala Kangsar.

Perak Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (operations) Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad said that the incident occurred at 5.12pm Wednesday (Sept 25).

"The accident involved police personnel and a Health Ministry personnel from Hospital Kuala Kangsar.

"The male police personnel was trapped in his seat while the other female victim sustained minor injuries," he said in a statement on Wednesday.

He said a special cutting equipment was used to free the victim, while the female victim was taken to the hospital by the Kuala Kangsar Emergency Medical Response Service (EMRS).
