Anwar expresses gratitude to medical teams after check-up


KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim expressed his gratitude to the staff of Sultan Idris Shah Hospital, Serdang, Putrajaya Hospital, and Kuala Lumpur Hospital for treating him.

"Thank you to all the caregivers, specialists, and medical staff at Serdang Hospital, Putrajaya Hospital, and Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL). Alhamdulillah, I am in good health," the Prime Minister said in a Facebook post on Monday (Aug 12).

Anwar underwent an annual health check-up conducted by a team of medical specialists from the Health Ministry at Sultan Idris Shah Hospital, Serdang, on Sunday (Aug 11).

According to the Selangor Health Department, the Prime Minister's health was in good condition and at an optimal level. He remained enthusiastic and determined to continue bearing the responsibility of elevating the nation's status and dignity to the highest level.

Malaysians took the opportunity to pray for the Prime Minister's health and well-being in the comments section of the post uploaded on Monday (Aug 12).

Facebook user Fauzi Mazlan prayed that Anwar would always be granted good health and remain fit to lead the nation.

Meanwhile, Hassan Hami shared his gratitude for the Prime Minister's positive health developments.

"May all affairs be eased and may you continue to stay healthy. The common people, especially in Malaysia, greatly need DSAI's (Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim) leadership," he said. – Bernama
