Wife of suspect in Nur Farah Kartini's murder cries every day, says elder brother

MELAKA: The wife of the suspect implicated in the murder of 25-year-old Nur Farah Kartini Abdullah cries every day, says her elder brother.

"My sister cries every day, her emotions have been in turmoil ever since she learned about the incident," says the man in his 40s who declined to be named.

Sinar Harian reported in an article on Thursday (July 18) that the man sees his youngest sister in tears every day, adding that she is the mother of an eight-month-old baby.

The third among seven siblings, he said the family now needs to be by his 25-year-old sister's side, offering moral support to help her endure the difficult days ahead.

Nur Farah Kartini was reported missing in Tanjung Malim, Perak, on July 11.

She was reported missing after sending a rental car to a customer at Taman Universiti, Tanjung Malim.

A policeman, said to be her boyfriend, has since been detained and remanded for seven days.

The case is classified under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
