DNA confirms remains are of Nur Farah Kartini, body to be handed over to family, say cops


PETALING JAYA: Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Hussein Omar Khan confirmed that the remains of Nur Farah Kartini Abdullah, 25 will be given to her family for burial on Thursday (July 18).

He said the DNA process which was done had confirmed the identity of the remains as that of Nur Farah Kartini.

"The DNA is positive. The body which was found in the oil palm plantation in Kampung Sri Kledang, Hulu Selangor, is Nur Farah Kartini's.

"I can also confirm the remains will be handed over to the family today," Sinar Harian reported him as saying on Thursday.

Nur Farah Kartini was found dead at the oil palm plantation on July 15.
