MALAYSIAN singer Fish Leong burst into tears while performing in Beijing recently, reported China Press.

The 46-year-old, who is currently on a concert tour in China, was overcome with emotions when she sang Acceptance, which describes a couple having to accept the fate of going separate ways.

Her voice began to quiver and soon before reaching the chorus, she could no longer continue with the performance.

On seeing this, the fans sang out loud to the melody as a form of encouragement for the songstress.

Leong recovered quickly and went on to complete the performance 15 minutes later without further incidents on Sunday.

It was reported that Leong would often break down after her divorce from businessman Tony Chau in 2019 following a nine-year marriage.

> The daily also reported of the misfortunes of a tuition teacher whose house had been broken into recently.

Traumatised by the incident, the 46-year-old hid more than RM10,000 cash in various currencies underneath the passenger seat of his pickup truck.

He also kept thousands of pages of teaching materials in the truck.

Unfortunately, the vehicle was stolen from a neighbourhood in Seremban, Negri Sembilan on Tuesday afternoon.

The teacher said he bought the vehicle for RM140,000 three years ago and had just paid off the loan last month.

“Misfortunes often come in pairs,” he said.

He claimed the police had told him that at least three such vehicles were stolen in the past few days while warning owners to be wary as there seemed to be a car theft gang targeting pickup trucks in the area.
