PETALING JAYA: An actor is being investigated for allegedly punching his girlfriend while having an argument recently.
It is known that the complainant had lodged a police report at the Seapark police station after the attack on Sunday (July 7).
It was alleged that the couple had an argument inside the vehicle belonging to the boyfriend and amid the argument, punched the girlfriend’s right eye and body after being scolded.
When contacted Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Shahrulnizam Jaa'far confirmed the report.
He added that the case was being investigated under Section 323 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing hurt.
