Seputeh MP Teresa Kok receives death threat, bullets in the mail


KUALA LUMPUR: Seputeh MP Teresa Kok discovered two bullets and a threatening letter in her home's mailbox.

The DAP politician confirmed the unsettling incident on Facebook, stating that the ominous items were found on Wednesday (May 15).

"When I opened the envelope and inspected the contents I found two bullets and a white A4 paper," she said, adding the paper contained a death threat.

She filed a police report and submitted the letter and bullets to the Petaling police station. Police have examined the mailbox at her condominium as part of their investigation.

Attempts to obtain a statement from the police regarding the incident are underway.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Comm Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa confirmed the case in a statement on Sunday and urged the public to not speculate as investigations are ongoing.
