IPOH: A 57-year-old man was found dead inside a locked house at Persiaran Pengkalan Ria 8, Taman Desa Pakatan, Pasir Puteh here.
Perak Fire and Rescue Department assistant operations director Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad said that a distress call regarding the incident was received at 1.47pm on Saturday (Sept 12).
"Upon arrival, a 57-year-old man was found unconscious inside the house.
"The operation commander assessed the situation before directing firefighters to force open the door using a Holmatro hydraulic cutter," he said in a statement.
He added that once the door was opened, the unconscious victim was examined and pronounced dead, with the body handed over to the police for further action.
