Over 20,000 visit Sabah's Aidilfitri open house

KOTA KINABALU: More than 20,000 people attended the Sabah Hari Raya Aidilfitri Open House here on Sunday.

Held at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC), the event was also attended by Head of State Tun Juhar Mahiruddin and his wife Toh Puan Norlidah RM Jasni.

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor and his wife Datin Seri Juliah Salag presented duit Raya to 100 selected recipients.

Hajiji, accompanied by his deputy Datuk Shahelmey Yahya, the organising chairman, mingled with the guests along with other state cabinet members.

Other VIPs at the open house included State Assembly Speaker Datuk Seri Kadzim M Yahya and Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali.
