Cabinet reshuffle: Three-way portfolio swap for Tok Mat, Zambry and Khaled Nordin


PUTRAJAYA: There was a three-way portfolio swap among three ministers in the Cabinet reshuffle announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on Tuesday(Dec 11).

Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan has been moved from the Defence Ministry to the Foreign Ministry.

Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Zambry Abdul Kadir will move to the Higher Education Ministry while outgoing higher education minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin will helm the Defence portfolio.

While there were no changes in the deputies of the Defence and the Foreign ministries, Datuk Mustapha Sakmud has been named as the new higher education deputy minister.

He was formerly the deputy minister of Human Resources.
