PUTRAJAYA: Steven Sim has been appointed the new Human Resources Minister while former minister V. Sivakumar has been dropped from the Cabinet
Sim, who was the Deputy Finance Minister II, was made a full minister in Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s cabinet reshuffle on Tuesday(Dec11).
Former deputy works minister Datuk Seri Abdul Rahman Mohammad will be the new Deputy Human Resources Minister.

Replacing Sim as the Deputy Finance Minister II is Lim Hui Ying, who was previously the deputy education minister.
Meanwhile, former Public Accounts Committee (PAC) chairman Wong Kah Woh have been named as the new Deputy Education Minister.
Sivakumar was previously investigated by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) over allegations of corruption involving the recruitment of foreign workers.
