Dewan Rakyat: 12 bills passed at third meeting of second term of 15th parliament


KUALA LUMPUR: The Third Meeting of the Second Term of the 15th Parliament adjourned on Thursday (Nov 30) after sitting for 32 days from Oct 9, with 12 bills passed, including the Supply Bill 2024 (Budget 2024).

The highest budget ever tabled in the country’s history, with an allocation of RM393.8bil, was tabled by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on Oct 13, before being debated at the policy and committee stages for about six weeks and approved on Nov 27 through a majority voice vote.
