Firemen rescue man who climbed billboard after arguing with wife


SUNGAI BULOH: A man climbed up a 12m-tall billboard at Puncak Bestari here following an argument with his wife.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (operations) Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said his personnel were called to the scene at the Puncak Bestari lake at around 8.35am on Monday (Aug 28).

"We deployed a fire engine and five personnel to the scene.

"They arrived at the location and found a man standing on the signboard and screaming," he said.

He said that after some persuasion by the man's wife and some friends at the scene the man was brought down at around 10.35am.
