PASIR MAS: Police are awaiting a full report from Indonesian authorities on the arrest of a Malaysian man and his Indonesian girlfriend over suspected drug-laced vapes in Medan.
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Mohd Khalid Ismail said the police had yet to receive the complete details from their Indonesian counterparts.
"We have not received a full report yet.
“If there are any new developments, I will make sure that we inform reporters,” he said after conducting a working visit to the illegal Lubok Gong base in Rantau Panjang here on Wednesday (Aug 25).
It was previously reported that a Malaysian was arrested after being suspected of being involved in distributing e-cigarettes or vapes containing drugs in Medan, Indonesia.
The 22-year-old man was arrested last week along with his 35-year-old girlfriend, who is an Indonesian citizen.
