Register with Customs in line with Sales Tax Act, businesses told

JOHOR BARU: Companies that have reached an annual sales turnover of RM500,000 within 12 months are encouraged to register their business with the Customs Department in line with the Sales Tax Act 2018.

Customs Department assistant director-general (internal tax division) Wan Saadah Mohamed Muhibuddin said the department is targeting to get more than 4,000 new registrants this month through its nationwide operation.
