Management of Lenggong Valley World Heritage site handed over to Perak state gov't

LENGGONG: The Tourism, Arts and Culture Ministry through the National Heritage Department on Sunday (July 30) handed over the management of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (Unesco) World Heritage Site - Lenggong Valley - to the Perak state government.

Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing said he hoped that the site would be better managed under the leadership of the Perak Menteri Besar and various agencies under the state government administration.
