PETALING JAYA: With the possible scenario of the approval of the Control of Tobacco Products and Smoking Bill 2023 delayed in Parliament, the Cabinet should take the immediate decision to relist liquid nicotine under the Poisons Act (Amended) 2022, says the Malaysian Pharmacists Society (MPS).
MPS also proposed several other measures including asking for local authorities to withdraw the licences of existing premises selling ecigarettes and nicotine-based vapes and freezing new licences.
