Smugglers try to sneak in RM1mil beer as consignments carrying printers, furniture

KOTA KINABALU: The Customs Department here has seized RM1mil in beer that had been falsely declared as computer accessories, hardware and furniture.

This follows attempts by syndicates trying to pass off smuggled goods as pork and soya beans earlier this year.
