Annuar Musa says ready to join any political party after three-month break

PETALING JAYA: Former Ketereh Umno division head Tan Sri Annuar Musa (pic) is ready to join any political party that is willing to accept him as a member.

According to him, he made the decision after a three-month "rest".

"I have been out of politics for three months, and I have been using this time to reflect on myself and observe the political development in the country," he said in a Facebook post on Monday (Feb 27).

He said it was time for him to seriously think about returning to politics, and fight under a party.

"By choosing a suitable party, one that truly stands for the greatness of religion, and defends race and nation.

"I hope there will be a party that is willing to accept me and I wish to serve as a normal member," said Annuar Musa, who is president of Muafakat Nasional, an NGO.

Annuar Musa was sacked by the Umno supreme council last December.
