Probe into causes of ferry incident

ALOR SETAR: Human negligence and technical malfunction are some of the angles that a ferry operator is looking at after nearly 550 people were stranded on board a ferry for almost seven hours near the Kuala Kedah ferry terminal.

Ferry Line Ventures Sdn Bhd Consortium human resource and operations manager Kapt Dr Baharin Baharom said they had not ruled out such possibilities in the incident that took place 1km away from the Kuala Kedah estuary at 2.45pm on Sunday.
