Pakatan still deliberating possible cooperation with Muda, says Amirudin

SHAH ALAM: The option for Pakatan Harapan to work with Malaysian United Democratic Alliance (Muda) in the upcoming general election is still being considered, says PKR vice-president Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari.

He said this strategy should be viewed from a bigger framework of their struggle to carry out reforms in the country.

"PKR and Pakatan, who support the idea, should think of the best methods.

"I believe this matter will be carefully discussed by the Pakatan leadership in a retreat that will take place close to Malaysia Day," he told a press conference after officiating the Yayasan Selangor Education Synergy programme 2022 at the state secretariat building here on Monday (Sept 5).

Amirudin, who is also Selangor Mentri Besar, was asked to comment on talk at grassroots level about Pakatan working with Muda.

"This is being reviewed, we will see the pros and cons," added Amirudin.

The four member parties in Pakatan are PKR, DAP, Parti Amanah Negara and United Progressive Kinabalu Organisation (Upko).
