PETALING JAYA: Despite opposing the idea of early national polls, PAS president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang has now taken a different stand, saying that the general election should be held immediately to ensure stability.
"In moments that require the government to be strengthened and depending on the situation, a general election should be expedited," he told reporters at the Rusila Mosque in Terengganu on Friday (June 24).
