The former domestic trade and consumer affairs minister said he has sent congratulatory wishes to Rafizi, Nik Nazmi (Nik Ahmad), Chang Li Kang and other winners.

"Congratulations are also extended to all the elected division heads, AMK and women’s division and committee members.

"My attitude is simple and clear. Respect the decisions made by party members.

"The practice of democracy determines who is elected and who is not," he said urging members not to tear up friendships.

He said they must always maintain unity among party members.

"God willing, PKR will continue to be strong. My job is still focused on organising the National Congress this June.
