PKR polls: Rafizi wins in Perak, continues to extend lead over Saifuddin


PETALING JAYA: Rafizi Ramli has won in 20 out of Perak's 24 PKR divisions to extend his lead over Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail in the fight for the party's deputy president post.

Rafizi garnered a total of 6,025 votes in the PKR party election 2022 against Saifuddin's 2,201 votes in the state.

Saifuddin only managed narrow wins in three of the state's 24 divisions - Bukit Gantang, Ipoh Barat and Kampar.

There was a tie in the Telok Intan division where both Rafizi and Saifuddin picked up 102 votes.

Earlier, Rafizi had emerged as the winner in Selangor, Negri Sembilan, Melaka, Kedah and Kelantan while Saifuddin had won in Sabah.
