Aedy Ashraf headed for real-life romance with co-star

SOCIAL media is abuzz after well-known local actor Aedy Ashraf was spotted in a viral video asking his co-star Amelia Henderson (pic) to be his girlfriend recently, reported Kosmo!

The video was said to have been recorded during a food festival in Kuala Lumpur, during which the Budak Tebing actor is seen going down on one knee in front of onlookers and asking her:

“Amelia Henderson, would you be my girlfriend?”

Amelia, whose real name in Amelia Thipura Henderson, is said to have answered “yes” as Aedy beamed with pride.

Aedy earlier said that he had waited two years to ask Amelia, who is of Indonesian-Scottish parentage, to be his girlfriend.

Although some fans said they were touched by the couple’s romance, others cautioned that it might just be a publicity gimmick as Aedy and Amelia were currently starring in the drama series Kisah Cinta Kita.

However, both actors had denied that it was staged.

He said his life changed four years ago after his car crashed into a ravine near Bentong, Pahang, during a school break.

Abdullah said he was on medical leave for five months before being posted to his current position in Kelantan on Aug 2, 2018.

Besides being able to write, Abdullah said he also drives and rides a motorcycle.

He said he was able to lead a normal life despite his disability, adding that his students were very accepting of his condition.
