PETALING JAYA: The second exam session for Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) 2021 candidates who could not sit for the exam will be held from April 5 to May 19, 2022, says the Education Ministry.
The Ministry’s Examination Board said in a statement on Saturday (March 26) that the second exam session was for SPM candidates who could not sit for the speaking and listening tests for the Malay and English subjects, as well as the practical and written tests for the Science subject that was held from Feb 8 to March 29, 2022.
"This included those who tested positive for Covid-19, were placed under quarantine as directed by the Health Ministry, affected by floods or other special cases that have been approved by the Examination Director," it said.
The Examination Board reminded all applicable candidates to review, confirm and print the Examination Registration Statement (Pernyataan Pendaftaran Peperiksaan) containing designated examination centre information, date, time, code and examination papers starting April 1, 2022.
"All the information is available through the link elp.moe.gov.my or through the mobile application e-Examination Board which can be downloaded via Google Play Store," it said.
It added that the SPM examination timetable for the second session and instructions that must be adhered to during the examination can be downloaded from the Examination Board's official portal at lp.moe.gov.my, which will be available on 1 April 2022.
"Candidates are also reminded to bring identification documents and printed Examination Registration Statement to the examination centre.
"Candidates must also adhere to the Guidelines for the Management of Central Assessment and Public Examinations contained in the School Management and Operation Guidelines 3.0 issued by the Education Ministry as well as operating procedures standards set by the National Security Council and the Health Ministry," it said, adding that this was to ensure the smooth management of exam and prevention of Covid-19 infection.
The guidelines could be downloaded from the Education Ministry’s official portal at www.moe.gov.my.
