JOHOR BARU: Nominations open today (Feb 26) for the Johor state election in what some believe will be a prelude to GE 15.

Some 2.6 million voters are eligible to cast their ballot, including about 175,000 first-time voters aged 18 to 20, come polling day on March 12.
