Covid-19 vaccination for construction sector to begin July 1 with focus on ongoing projects, says KJ


PETALING JAYA: The Covid-19 immunisation programme for the construction industry is set to begin July 1 with a focus on ongoing construction projects, says Khairy Jamaluddin (pic).

National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme coordinating minister said the Public-Private Partnership Industrial Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (Pikas) is not affecting the mainstream immunisation programme, which is running as usual.

He also said that so far, 15 per cent of the Malaysian population have received their first dose of the vaccine with 5.8 per cent being fully vaccinated.
