PUTRAJAYA: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has suspended the statement recording process involving former Felda chairman Tan Sri Mohd Isa Samad while he recovers from a medical procedure.
"As he was unwell and sent to Hospital Serdang for eye surgery, we have postponed (the recording of the statement) for the time being," MACC chief commissioner Datuk Seri Abd Halim Aman said on Friday (Sept 25).

“We will resume after receiving information on his health status from the Prisons Department.
"Once he has recovered, we will continue recording his statement.
"There is still a lot more information to be obtained from him," he told the media after the 5th National Governance, Integrity and Anti-Corruption Research Conference here.
It was reported earlier that the MACC was recording Isa's statement in prison as part of the ongoing investigation into Felda and Felda Investment Corporation Sdn Bhd (FIC).
In February, Isa was sent to Sungai Buloh Prison after the Federal Court upheld a six-year jail term and RM15.45mil fine imposed on him by the Kuala Lumpur High Court.
He was convicted in a graft case involving RM3.09mil linked to the purchase of a hotel in Sarawak.
