A MAN in Penang ended up being stabbed to death after he tried to help a neighbour who was being beaten by her husband, Makkal Osai reported.
The 35-year-old man intervened when the plantation worker fought with his wife and hit her on Monday at a flat in Seberang Perai, Penang.
The attacker, who was furious at being reprimanded, stabbed the neighbour in the back seven times with a knife. The victim later died at the hospital. The attacker has been detained by the police.
